Ineffective health control: concept analysis

ABSTRACT Objectives: to identify and synthesize the concept of Ineffective Health Control. Methods: Concept Analysis from perspective Walker Avant, operationalized by an integrative review in databases Scopus, LILACS, PubMed, CINAHL, Web Science, Science Direct e Cochrane, using descriptors: Adhesion Medication; Cooperation Adherence Treatment Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. Results: five critical attributes were identified for concept, namely: patient’s refusal follow therapeutic plan; abandoning treatment worsening signs symptoms; difficulty reaching agreed goals; following health professionals’ guidelines; multifactorial dynamic process. Conclusions: Control is characterized a process evidenced plan, favouring abandonment resulting symptoms failure reach goals.
